MAG By Andile Mdakane
Boa Me Na Me Mmoa Wo-Small
"Help me and let me help you” - a symbol of cooperation and interdependence.
Adinkra symbols represent ancient African proverbs, still universally relevant today. They were originally created by the Ashanti of Ghana and the Gyaman of Côte d'Ivoire in West Africa
MAG’s earrings merge innovative laser-cutting technology and traditional handicraft, to make a lightweight BOLD statement.
All earrings use Shweshwe fabric- proudly seen as an iconic Southern African fabric. The fabric is used in traditional ceremonies, and for the clothing of married Xhosa and Sotho women.
