THE DESIGNER- Anna Richerby
Originally from the UK, Anna fell in love with South Africa on a visit. In 2009, she founded BELOVED BEADWORK in Cape Town, with a team of Pan–African women, who hand weave intricate modern designs, using just a needle and thread.
Historically, beads were used as currency in cross-continent trade throughout Africa, and have now evolved to become the keystone in many tribe’s traditional craftwork.
